I finally made an entire raw food dinner that required a bit of prep work =) Ani Phyo’s Sun Burger with Black Sesame Sunflower Bread, Spicy Mustard and Sun-Dried Tomato Ketchup. It was really tasty! Not exactly a burger in the traditional sense, but a filling meal nonetheless.
First up was the Spicy Mustard – quick, spicy and yummy!
The sun-dried tomato ketchup was unusual, but I really enjoyed it! It was light and really fresh tasting.
The only part of the meal that took some advance planning was the Black Sesame Sunflower “Bread” which required a few hours in the dehydrator. There was no sprouting or soaking required, so it only took a few minutes to mix up and then I left it to its own devices in the dehydrator.
Finally, everything went together to form my burger for the evening. I also made some crackers from the Raw Food, Real World book since I was running the dehydrator anyway. Spicy Sun-Dried Tomato Crackers which I ate with fresh Mango Salsa. Yummy!

what a wonderful raw dinner! it all looks great! and i totally picked up Ani’s book this weekend – i can’t wait to try out some of her recipes, too!
